Regional Government Services (RGS), and its staff, is conducting this recruitment for the East Bay Regional Parks District. 
 
The Recruitment & Classification Manager performs are wide array of duties including planning, organizing, and implementing the objectives, administrative, and operational activities of human resources programs that will include recruitment and compensation with an emphasis on supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives; developing human resources program standards; supervising and evaluating staff; ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws related to human resources and Park District requirements; conducting analytical studies and special projects, as well as providing advice and assistance to Park District management, supervisors, and employees in all human resources management areas.
 
The job requires a collaborative, seasoned professional who will adhere to the District’s culture of teamwork, accountability, innovation, empowerment, transparency, and service to its customers. This position reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer and serves as a member of the Park District’s management team, with responsibility for providing expert advice, consultation and recommendations related to the development and implementation of the goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and priorities of human resources programs.
