MONTHLY SALARY RANGE: $5,768.87 – $7,407.67

The City is currently seeking to fill one (1) position within the Human Resources Department, assigned to the Workforce Planning Division.  This position reports directly to the Supervising Human Resources Analyst and will be one of four analysts assigned to the Work Force Planning team.  The Human Resources Analyst II is an integral member of the team who focuses upon attracting and selecting quality candidates for positions throughout the City.  This individual works independently with subject matter experts to recruit, assess, and identify top candidates to fill key positions within the City, along with serving City staff and the public.  Public sector experience is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will possess analytical experience in recruitment and selection within a public agency and understand the importance of diversifying the workforce.  The candidate will have experience overseeing the recruitment processes, and developing and validating selection tools (i.e., multiple choice tests, oral/assessment interviews, performance exams, and training and experience ratings).  The ideal candidate will also have the ability to: be a team player and be able to work collaboratively with hiring managers and applicants; quickly adapt to changing situations; manage and prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously in a very busy environment; be detailed-oriented; and devise creative methods and solutions for recruitment issues.

Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in business or public administration, industrial relations, or a related field and two years of professional-level experience in a centralized human resources system, which has included experience in recruitment and workforce planning. Experience in a public agency setting is desirable.
