Candice Mabra is a Principal Human Resources Analyst with the County of Sacramento. In her current role, she is responsible for executive recruitments, exam development, and for overseeing the team that is responsible for all County certifications. Prior to working for County of Sacramento, Candice worked in a Senior Management position with the Solano County’s Human Resources Department. Before starting her career as a public servant, Candice worked in the private sector for many years, including as the Director of HR for a national retailer with 100+ locations spread out over 29 states.
Candice has extensive experience specific to hiring and selection with both the public and private sectors. In addition to having management experience over a variety of other HR functions, her related experience includes the development of policies, programs, and best practices as associated with all aspects of competitive examinations and hiring and selection processes. She has also developed and taught several human resources courses throughout her career. Today, she is responsible for teaching the County’s Hiring and Interviewing Best Practices Supervisory Leadership Academy Course. Candice is noticeably passionate about her role and responsibilities in in the field of human resources.
